Why is my distillate crystallized?

What causes CBD, CBG, and CBN Distillate Crystallization?
Several factors cause distillate to crystallize including potency and storage conditions, with potency being the major factor. In high-potency distillates, there is a higher concentration of CBD molecules present. This increased concentration provides more opportunities for CBD molecules to come together and form crystals. Additionally, the extracts have also undergone extensive purification processes to concentrate the CBD. During these processes, impurities and other molecules that may prevent crystallization are removed, leaving behind a form of CBD that is prone to crystallization.
What can I do to revert my distillate to a state so that I can work with it?
Warming up the distillate will make it more fluid and easier to dispense. CanniLabs distillate is packed in a reagent bottle made from high-purity, heat-resistant, food-grade resin (or glass). To warm, loosen the cap, and place the bottle in an oven at 150O F until the distillate reaches the desired consistency. A warm water bath will achieve the same results; just do not allow water to get into the distillate. Some cannabinoids crystallize fairly easily, and following the above procedures to revert them back to a liquid stage between uses may be necessary.
